Energy efficient lighting

This iconic building in the King Street Wharf precinct of Sydney boasts a range of environmentally sustainable design initiatives of which energy efficient lighting plays a key role.

The building’s design promotes the ingress of natural light via the façade and central atrium. Austube luminaires were custom manufactured to incorporate daylight sensors which operate to seamlessly dim perimeter lighting in order to harvest the abundant natural light. High performance louvres and reflectors as well as high efficiency lamps were also used to improve lighting efficacy.

A flexible lighting control system operates in distinct modes to suit the building occupants and can be reconfigured should tenant requirements change.

This state of the art building has been awarded an impressive array of accolades including a coveted Six Star Green Star design rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.
